Grand Hotel, Reykjavik, Iceland On behalf of NPKF it is a pleasure to invite you all to the XXXIII conference in plastic surgery and the V conference for nurses in plastic surgery in Iceland on June 10 – 12, 2010. Plastic surgery is a fast developing speciality in medicine and there is a strong tendency to isolate different subjects and projects in relation to various techniques and / or problems. This has led to less communication between colleagues than before and difficulties for young doctors specializing in plastic surgery to get an overview of the vast area that this specialty covers and its inherent problems. Our meeting therefore provides an opportunity for plastic surgeons in different fields to get acquainted and share their knowledge and experience. We would like welcome plastic surgeons from all subspecialties, including breast surgery, microsurgery, aesthetic surgery, transsexual surgery, lipofilling, cranio facial surgery, burn treatment, cleft lip and palate and others. We would like to welcome nurses in the field of plastic surgery and hope they enjoy the parallel meetings. June is the brightest time of year in Iceland and provides excellent opportunities to explore Iceland’s exotic landscapes and experience the midnight sun.
