Travel support for young and new members

Members of NSFS who are younger than 35 years at the time of the conference or have become members of the society after December 31st, 2006 can apply. This will in theory enable those who join the NSFS to apply once for travel support. The travel support is in the form of a lump sum that covers flights and conference fee. A committee with one member of the NSFS board from each country has been set up with Þorgeir Sigurðsson, (Iceland) as chair.  Other members of the committee are  Carsten Israelson (Danmark) Jussi Patero (Finland) Rajdeep Sidhu (Norway) and Carl Göran Lindell (Sweden). The committee will evaluate requests for travel support and decide whether support will be provided. Higher priority will be given to those with accepted presentations at the conference.
