I am writing on behalf of my Shipmates, my grandson & myself to say thank you for the wonderful reception you provided at the University before & during the July Conference.  The warmth of your greetings and generous hospitality made us feel very welcome. Congratulations to you all for the care and friendship shown to the Convoy Veterans.   I am of the opinion that the Conference arrangements were fantastic and a credit to you all.
The program and timings, though demanding, enabled the delivery of papers giving vital contributions from which we learnt a great deal.  I am sure this Conference will set a hard act to follow in the future!
