hiltonreknordicaThe contemporary Hilton Reykjavik Nordica hotel sits in the financial district of midtown Reykjavik, 5 minutes' walk from the outdoor park of Laugardalur.
The hotel is a popular choice for both local as well as international gatherings of all kinds. Hilton Reykjavik Nordica can host meetings of up to 650 guests in the main function space and banqueting area. The conference centre contains a total of 11 meeting and function rooms, the majority of which are located on one floor and all make use of natural daylight.

To Hilton there are two busses number 2, and number 15 that go from Hlemmur every 15 minutes in the morning and in the afternoon. If you stay at Hotel Fron or Guesthouse Sunna, you need to walk to Hlemmur, just ask the people at the hotel how to get there.

 

From Fron or Sunna a taxi would cost appox. 10 euros to the Hilton Hotel.


Workshops and tutorials will be given at Reykjavik University.

You can use bus routes no. 16 and 19 to travel to Nauthólsvík. The bus stop is in front of the building, by the centre.

There are bus trips every 15 minutes from Hlemmur with a stop at old Hringbraut/Landspítali hospital. (After 18:00 the bus trips are once an hour). Employees and students are encouraged to make as much use of public transport as possible. The City of Reykjavík is significantly improving public transport to the university which makes its use important.

Taxi from Hilton to Reykjavik University would cost appox. 12 euros.


Conference, Tutorials and Workshop fees – paid before 15 September

Conference fee:  ISK 90.000
Conference fee – Students: ISK 45.000 kr.
Tutorials 16 & 17 October, full day: ISK 50.000
Tutorials 16 & 17 October, half day: ISK 25.000
Workshops 16 & 17 October, full day: ISK 16.000

Registration is open.

 

Cancellation and refund policy:       
Cancellations must be done in writing (e-mail). 75% of the registration fee will be refunded on cancellation received before 15 September. After 15 September no refund will made.    
In case of cancellation of specific items (i.e. accommodation, tours etc.) that have already been paid for, the amount will be refunded less an administration charge of EUR 35 / ISK 5000.   All refunds will be processed after the meeting.
