Due to frequent currency fluctuations and higher domestic prices in Iceland we are obliged to raise the conference fees and ask for a separate payment for the special study tour on Thursday and the conference dinner on Friday. We do hope that this will not be a deterrent for the participation and we emphasize that the EUR rate towards the Icelandic krona is favorable for our foreign visitors. So we hope to see you all in Iceland in October ! There are several options for registration. Depending on the option chosen, the fee includes simultaneous translation, coffee breaks, 3 lunches and many evening activities. The conference fee does not include the study tour, Thursday 8th October € 53, nor gala dinner, Friday 9th October € 70. These two events needs to be paid for and booked separately. Early bird general registration is €350 before March 15 2009.
General registration is €400 after March 15 2009 and before 1 September 2009. General registration after September 1 2009 is €450. Daily registration fee is €140. Student fee €250.
A special daily student fee € 35 is offered which does not include excursion and Gala dinner. Participants from associated fields can register for same fee as ICOM/CECA members. Refund requests must be received in writing to Gestamóttakan - Your Host in Iceland (
