GUIDELINES FOR EACH TYPE OF PRESENTATION

Regular paper

.  Time allowed: 15 minutes
.  Rigorous and critical presentation of a subject closely related to one of the sub-themes of the
   conference.

Research Paper

.  Time allowed: 20 minutes
.  Presentation including the question or problem investigated, the method or instrument used,
the obtained results and their interpretation.
.  Only the quantity of data that could be interpreted during the time allowed should be
presented. Unexplained numerous data are usually badly received by the audience.

Market of Ideas

.  Time allowed: 7 minutes
.  Presentation should describe a concrete project or idea carried out at the presenter’s
museum/institution.  It should be of interest for its novelty, for the experience and the
results, which should be transferable to other museums or settings.  This is not the place to
   present one’s museum or activities.

Poster

.  Unlimited time allowed
.  A poster presents a text and some illustrations (photographs, charts, graphs, etc.) that
should be functional (add something important to the content treated)
.  The text should be clear and short with evident headlines.  It should include the following
   information:
Name of the author, institution and e-mail address
Identification and importance of the subject treated
           Originality of the project
           Results or end product
           Consequences or follow-up
.  Dimensions are generally about one meter high by 60 cent wide.  Reduced inexpensive copies
   can also be made available.
.  Presenter should stand by his poster during all the Poster Session, ready to offer information
or engage dialogue with the conference participants.

Free Presentation

.  An articulate presentation of any subject relevant to education or cultural action.
.  It could take the form of a written text or visual presentation, but it could not be oral.

Remarks:

1)  The title of any kind of presentation appears in the proceedings;
2)  Complying with the preceding guidelines is extremely important as the other participants
bitterly complain when they are not.  If you think that your presentation do not match
them, do not hesitate to offer a Free Presentation.
